Skog07 stepping down

Postby Dave on Thu, 17 Mar 2011 9:35 +0000

Hi everyone,

Due to time constraints, Skogsy has decided to step down and become a regular member again, he just cant find the time to be as active as he has been in the past, so in saying that, he's decided to let someone else give it a go.

It's been a pleasure having Mark as part of the Mod team here at newHilux.net, a BIG thank you for the top effort you have put into the forum during your lengthy time here as a mod. You have done some really great things since you have been on here. I really can't thank you enough!

In the coming few days, we'll be looking for a new moderator... Someone that is level headed and has been around for a while... would you like to give it a try? Send us your interest via PM.

Cheers, Dave

Aww Shucks... You have all made me blush.....
Have been avoiding responding to this topic the whole time since it was posted....
Now where to start???
Firstly, would to thank every single member of this forum who has contributed to it. Without your input the forum would certainly not be what it is today..To keep the forum going and gaining strength I sincerly recommend that you post up any advice and any tips that may help another fellow forum member out... And please post plenty of pics as pictures tell a thousand words..
I would also like to thank the moderating team of Naisie, Steve9R and mmaaxx. It has been fantastic to work alongside you all and most of all your friendship. You have all made very valuable contributions to the forum. You ladies and gents should know that its a thankless job anyway... :) :) and you do it for the love of it.....
Brendon....Your snoring sounded like someone trying to push start an old Harley with fouled plug.. This area is now my dining room...  . You are the true pioneer of the mod software on the forum.. It was a ball learning how to work it all before Dave gave us the instruction manual... Geeze dunno how much we accidently deleted before we worked it out :o :o :o .
Dave. Would like to personally thank you for entrusting me with serving the site that I truely do enjoy and support, once again thankyou for the opportunity and also thankyou for giving everyone the means to pool this information via this forum..
Good luck to the new candidate, you will have plenty of support. (Including mine)
Cheers
Mark..
