Hi Max, you have one of the best Hiuxes I have ever sen! I love the Xrox bar on your ute but can't find one quite like it on-line.They all seem to be steel, whereas yours looks like some sort of 'plastic'. Can you tell me who supplies the style you have? I am after a 'nudge' bar rather than a full 'bull' bar.

check the fitting 33" tyre thread in the wheel/tyre section. Dont beleive when someone says it wont fit - where theres a will and a way (plus a little bit more brains than the average tyre technician), it can be done!

Jake, I sent a PM with the page link to my bashplate build. Did you get it? No I have not had any issues with the cooling at all. But Id reccomend you either mount lights above the top hoop or fit a light bar so enable maximum airflow to the radiator.

Another question mate, your lights limit any cool air getting to the radiator, doesn't heat up more than usual, i'm up in

Dan, you'll be fine. go for a 16x8 with +10 or zero offset. +20 is not enough, it'll rub on the chassis and possibly upper arms. Also get a wheel alignment with as much castor as possible w2ithin factory spec and you will probably need some minor trimming of plastic but nothing major. should clear the mount.

Hey mate, im a new member, got an 2004 luxy excab on 35s with custon tray lockers 4.85 diffs. Its awesome off road besides the front diff strength. Im currently thinkin about gettin the 2010 excab, but am concerned about the front diff.. Any feedback on how you have gone with it would be great. Im a life long fan of the lux, and love doin things to them that ppl tell me i cant. PS i am the real deal and do every thing to my lux myself, as i run an engineering business by trade.

notsoruff, stock rims arent -15, the sr5 rims a +30 and sr rims are +45...I needed the zero offset to keep the tyre away from the upper control arm.....Ideally a +15 or +10 rim would be great but no one makes them here.....FJ cruiser rims from the US are the best rim spec for 285's on hilux's.....

Hi mmaxx, the new bfg muddies having big side biters rub on full lock on the sway bars and just touch the rear of the front flares when off road. Nothing a grinder can't fix.

Hi mmaaxx, I am interested in utilising a similar roof rack system above tray (don't want it on my roof) for rod holders/jack etc. Did you use a genuine rear bar? or is that a custom made item? Cheers evolution01.

sr06, the lift is just over 3" on the front thou its dropped im guessin 15-20mm with the bullbar. getting an extra 1" lift on the front later this week.makin it 4" front minus the bars drop so a good 3.5". Rear is just over 2" reset factory leaves plus a 1" block making just over 3" and after the fronts raised if it looks bit funny, might do a longer shackle on the back.the shockers do have enough left in them for that, they are long travel ones to suit.

They used to rub at the rear of the front guard. I removed the mudflap, trimmed a little bit away, and flattened the pinchweld. No rubbing even under full flex!
