Welcome our new moderators!

Welcome our new moderators!

Postby Dave on Fri, 02 Jul 2010 8:24 +0000

Please welcome our three new moderators, mmaaxx, Steve9R and Naisie!

These three NewHilux.net forum addicts have graciously donated their time and effort to help keep the boards running smoothly, thanks for putting your hands up.

With these three new moderators joining the team, there is now a total of five moderators!
9W6VX, Skog07, mmaaxx, Steve9R and Naisie.

I would also like to thank everyone who was involved in the polling process, especially 9W6VX and Skog07... It was an extremely difficult decision for us to make as there was a tie between four members (at three votes each!)

Cheers, Dave

Thanks everyone for your support and congratulatory messages.

I must say I'm a bit excited about being the first female to join the moderator team. Sometimes you blokes all need to be kept in line!!! ;)

Onya guys, welcome. Thanks for cleaning up my future mess in advance  Someone has to parent the forums. I must admit I had a huge job keeping a large forum organized and looking great a few years ago so know what it's like. May I suggest to Dave some global code be added for hex colours for medium-grey page background and off-white text (it does not glow then) so it's easier on the eyes and Hilux background incorporating subtle newHilux/Toyota logo or something? It can make it look really good and easier to read for hours and posted links read and unread on a users browser are easy to see using particular pastel (non-vibrant) hex colours. I can pull some hexidecimal colours off my old forum that I spent many hours getting them perfect and pm them to Dave to try? I had even added 3D metal bars separating the postings and added 3D post and page borders which looked awesome. Admins from other sites commented on it back then on how good it looked.

Just a suggestion.

How about a background of my upcoming SR5? > arrives in 3 weeks, mods completed mid October as waiting on canopy only now, am I supposed to be this excited? You should be because you won't have to put up with my fruit avatar any more  Hopefully, be heading to Perth after that.

:D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

Thanks Shaker, that suggestion maybe a winner mate, more so for the background colour as you are right, it would be nicer lightened up a tiny bit. I'll have a play with that and see how it goes.
