Dave,

Just a suggestion here, what do you think about the moderators choosing a "Hilux Pic of the Month" that could get displayed on the home page for a month until the next one gets voted in? We could have a Hilux Pic Thread where members submit their pics to get judged at the end of each month. It could be a hilux in action offorading, or just posing with a nice background, or a camping pic with the hilux next to all the gear....etc etc etc

It could be used to help entice prospective members on the home page....just an idea. what do you think?

I use Microsoft 'Paint'. Copy and paste the image then select 'IMAGE' then 'STRETCH/SKEW' then adjust the percentage of the original size you wish to make the pic for posting on the site. Around 25-30% is normally fine for pics from my digi camera.

Lately Ive been trialling http://www.getpaint.net/ a free package at work for doing work related image sizing.

It has a few little extra items over the standard paint but not too complex that it takes too long to learn.

Usually my images are sized to about 500 pixels wide for the net and set at about 80% of their file size.
