Thanks ruleman, much appreciated.

The work Lux's Fuel Cooler had to be replaced a couple of months ago, old story . . . rock connected in the wrong place @ the wrong time. Don't want to have this happen to my pers. owned Lux, heaven forbid! :o

Argentina has awesome contrasting terrain! Lucky you!

Cheers

Went to Wizard yesterday, I have to get my sliders finished before he can get measurements and a price. The plate will be in 2 or 3 pieces going from where the ABR bullbar plate finishes all the way to just in front of the fuel tank where it will bend down to just lower than the tank to help slide over any rocks. It will be mounted onto brackets welded to the chassis so will be full width. 4mm Plate steel is what they use, I looked at the one on his patrol ute and they look really good. Mine will be powder coated white to match the car.

I believe that our Hiluxes front disc brakes are ventilated and not solid.

Solid discs are normally for the rear.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

Not sure about that side of the world, but I can almost assure you that all the range here has vented disks up front... even the 4x2 single cab in DX trim.

Mark,

Talking about the disc brake. Is this disc brake grease easily available in OZ? Could you provide some links to where I could view them online?

I just jacked up the front wheels and spun the front wheels to check if I could detect the bloody noise that is driving me crazy! Alas, it seemed normal to me.

I'm suspecting that the anti-squeal shim or anti-rattle spring are not mounted properly.

Cheers

Feel free to give me a yell, just shoot me an email and I'll give you my number.

Wizard Performance are in Labrador on the Gold Coast. They come highly reccomended by a number of prople I know in the 4WD scene down here.

The owner is NUTS about 4WD's. His 2 week old GU ute has twin bypass re-valveable shocks, 4 inch lift and looks MEAN!!! He was invited to give it a go in a recent friendly 4WD comp, and apparently it kept up with the comp trucks.

Then there is his comp truck, just silly!!! Next year they are going to build an Off Road Racing Buggy as well.

As for the Hilux suspension, they have only installed it in 1 ute and have 2 more to do. They are going to do a heap of R&D on them. Checking out rebound, castor, camber and a whole other range of whatever... I got lost in the tech talk. They are also interested in modifying my raer bar to recess it into the tub so it sits flush with the bottom of the flare.

I would if I could. They are manufactured in the USA, but the guys at wizard are doing the R&D to see what mods are needed to suit Aussie cars. Shocks will probably need re-valving and other adjustments. I will post when they tell me more.

that suspension from wizard posted above is straight from the aftermarket scene on the Taco's in the states. They go absolutely nuts with them, and I cant wait to find out more about it.

I would love a long travel kit like the ones they sell in USA:(
