Dave mate,
I thought I was the only one.
Had initial 30mm rear lift(70mm front) by suspension shop and noticed small shudder on take off and slowing down (at 10km to 20km).
Diff lock was done a few days before at arb.
I assumed it was the diff, arb said its the suspension.
Wasn't happy with the lift anyway so I went a full 3"
above standard right round.
This made it even worse, i'm talkin' really bad.
Then he put in some wedges between the axle and leaf to tilt the axle up slightly in line with the tail shaft, 2 degrees helped a bit so he swapped it for 3 degree wedge and put some washers in to pack the centre bearing down a touch(washers dodgy i know but we had to try something).
This made a huge difference but still slightly there.
Got a proper centre bearing spacer ordered and some 5 degree wedges hopefully this'll tidy it all up.
My suspension bloke will be happy too, probably sick of seeing my face every week or so for the last 8 weeks. ( he is doing it all for original quoted price)
Hope this helps.
I hate that when shops(as most of you have experienced at a certain 3 letter major 4x4 store) say theres nothing they can do. I reckon if they do the lift they should iron out any problems that arise at no charge.
Just my 2 cents.
Dan
one more thing, its auto and shudder didn't change in 4x4 or when i changed from weekend cooper st's to blinged up highway tyres.
