Gday all. I am new to this forum and new to Hilux's. I picked up a 92 dual cab and am loving it. I can't wait to take it out and join a 4wd club.

I will have pics soon. Can't wait to participate in the forums and maybe meet some of you.

Taking possession of the lux tomorrow. Picked it up with some mods. 2in lift, snokel, bullbar,rear bar, towbar, side steps, canopy and roof racks, New 31's and brake pads all round. Oh and the Aircon works a treat.

I think I will be happy with it.

Hello I thought this site was for '05' onwards? This is a '92', but your on 4 wheels that sit up high so welcome. Yeah, older Hilux section to avoid confusion. Try to keep up with these guys. Most have probably lost the plot in here, but generally, they all seem to be eerily normal It's quite concerning actually. It appears they lure you into a 4wd trip, then before you know it your knee deep in mud without a diff locker muhahahaa!

I appologise if I posted in the wrong section. Introductions seemed to be out on its lonesome under general and not yearly catorgorised. Have I misunderstood? Don't want to put anyones nose out of joint.

Now you make me feel small lol. I was pullin your chain mate Online communities are generally flexible and tolerable and making friends along with sharing information is what it's all about. Again, welcome. Don't worry, still yet to introduce myself so your one up on me. Originally I came in here to do my homework before I bought my new SR5, but Toyota didn't have the colour I wanted, so am waiting for a shipment from Japan. However, I have all the bits sittng here ready to fit except what ARB are doing for me such as diff locker and snorkle. This forum and many other sites and forum's information have helped a lot, although I kind of knew what I was going to do anyway, but the fine tuning bits and tips are a bonus. At the end of the day, I've been a member here without a Lux, but have one coming, so your one up on me there too. Have had some good laughs in here and I'm still getting my head around the layout of this forum, so far quite easy. Just bought a new camera which records video as well in 720p so will be posting videos and plently of pictures over the months on my treks across the country. I located the pre '05' threads appologies, didn't realise they were there. You live at Greenbank, which is a place that can be kinda lonely well it has grown a lot since I was there a few years ago anyway. A good thing to do is get involved in something and this forum is one of those places. With a little funding and a reliable shaker, you can roll with ya mates.

Greenbank is a good place.. wish i was there more often, then i could get brooksy and boof etc to do more bar work for me !
