Intro from Perth

Intro from Perth

Postby gruntre69 on Fri, 16 Apr 2010 9:12 +0000

G'Day all,

I'm a Queenlander in Perth, got stuck here while touring Australia in the landcruiser about 16 years ago.

I've been from Landcruiser HJ75 to two holden SS utes and bought a Hilux SR5 manual diesel just before the rebates ended last year. It was a rushed and unresearched decision but a bloody good one I reckon.

I've already gained heaps of knowledge and good info from this forum and am a very frequent visitor so I thought I better introduce myself.

I've just started modding the Hilux and much to the detriment of my bank account/mortgage I think I'm an addict....

I've got an ARB winch bar/tigerz II winch going on next week, then it's lift and wheels tyres. Ordered a Dig_Options deck yesterday too.

Anyway cheers to all for a really informative and friendly forum.

Grant

Thanks mate,

It's going to really cop a hiding now, as I confirmed on the weekend just how quickly I'm going to have to get that front end weight finalised and get the lift done. She is sitting so low now with that winch and bar over the standard spring and crap hwy tyres..... and don't start me on those rubbish SR5 steps.... or should I say ground indicators.....

Praise for the mighty snatch strap!
Cheers
