Hi all,

Just ordered a SR5 4x4 dual cab v6, get it late november. Looking forward to checking out this forum in the future, have found a few good reads already.
Big change for me seeing my current car is a BA XR8 ute and did 11's at the strip, but hey family comes first and the Hilux is way more practical for work a family.

Be warned this person is DOUBLE TROUBLE 11's are not that hard for and auto, but a 6speed manual Mmmmmmm bit harder. . .

But I do remember you saying to me once that you were changing gears faster than a one legged drummer at a ACDC concert

I have seen his work on and off the strip. . . . No just kidding Wade will fit in real well here.

Hmmm.... I noticed that there are many new members here who have placed an order for the Hilux and are waiting for delivery.

To all the new members, let me warmly welcome you.

I am sure you have many questions about the Hilux and how to modify it for offroad/touring use etc.

I only ask you to read as much as possible using the search function as your question will most probably have been asked before.

If after reading using the search function, you still cannot find the answer to your problem, please hop on to any of the relevant existing threads and post away.

Please do not create a new post if there is an existing thread on the subject matter.

Yes you could be onto something Pete, just rang up about the Bullet intercooled twin screw blower kit, not a bad price, could be on the cards me thinks.

Welcome aboard, just watch out for the 4wd bug to bite.......once it does you end up with very empty pockets on a regular basis.....enjoy

Just thought I tell you guys I just finally got my Hilux (build date september 09), its awsome great to drive, colour dark grey, with a genuine Toyota canopy.
Have a couple of plans for it in the future, which some of you might find interesting.
Will put some pics up in the next few days
