Hi all,
finally found this site - please be gentle with me......

Got the link from Prado site..... got that link from RV Supertramp discussing D4-D injector issues.....

Now quite concerned over a problem I don't have.... yet?

Love the truck - April '09 SR5 dual cab D4-D auto. Looking for "tow" to do a few laps around the block commencing mid 2010 (retirement).
Truck has ARB stuff ..... steel bar, rear bar, canopy, roof console & UHF....

sorry for the rant.....

Thanks Steve, Brendon and Dute......

just a bit concerned about this injector issue........ there must be thousands of these D4-D's out there..... how many of them do you believe are suffering this problem......

Thank goodness I've found somewhere to keep up with what's going on outside "dealer speak".....

My previous ute was in the range of those that suffered and mine was always great... when tested mine came in on the better side of the range... Wasn't dealer BS either as I was racing go-karts at the time with the guy that done it. I think some have the issue but it seems to kick in pretty early on in the life of the motor and should be replaced and ECU flashed under warranty... My mates Prado had 1 replaced and since then his has been great also... I think he has around 30,000 or more on it now... My previous ute had around 80,000 on it when replaced...
