04 SR5 dual cab

Postby Deceter on Sat, 17 Apr 2010 11:48 +0000

Okay,
I know it's outta the spec range for this forum but...

I've paid a deposit on a an 04 Dual cab SR5 and it's just been pointed out to me that in the ad, it doesn't state that it has aircon!!

Can someone confirm for me whether or not that would be standard on an SR5?

I can't contact the dealer today as they're not open and the vehicle is interstate to me anyway!!!

Might not seem like a big deal but to me it is so all info appreciated.

Cheers,

Matt

Arrrghh...

I hope this works out.

If not, how much trouble is it to fit it?

I swore and declared that I'd never have another vehicle without aircon!!

Can't believe I was silly enough not to check.

it would be easier to forfiet your deposit and buy one with aircon

Hey mate,

I'm looking to buy my first 4x4 Hilux and have noticed what you have gone through with alot of the SR models not having aircon. Just curious to find out if you know what the costs are to add aircon if found in the same situation as yourself where the car doesn't have air con. Did you end up putting aircon in yours?

Thanks,
Antoni

I would budget $1500 to $2000 to have it installed, if you did it all yourself using parts from say a wrecker, maybe less
