Well looks like the ARB bar is coming sooner than later as my car was parked in the local beach carpark today and a young fella backed his Hyundai Excel straight into my front bumper, just about smashed it off, push my car a meter over, what ever happened to driving slow in a carpark, lucky there looks to be no structural damage, still drove fine, so hoping to get the ARB bar and save on instillation and maybe some cost of the bar. More a pain than anything.

Got my ARB Sahara bull bar on today, stoked with the out come, ARB quoted me $2400 fitted and got it after parts not needed with the insurance claim for $730, happy as a pig in....!!

Here's some pics.

Decided not to get it colour coded as the colour they come dark metallic grey is not much different than the Charcol Grey mine is, personally I think it looks really good a tad darker also another saving too.

Cheers Pete,

I'm very impressed with the quality of the bar and what comes with it, also I got all these cables, wiring looms etc left over for a winch (I think), maybe next mod but not for a while, funds have dried up for now.

Why is it that some sahara bars come with the covers over the winch control holes and some don't. I have owned two and they don't and then I know plenty that do. I can't get an answer from ARB and you can't order them as a separate piece to retrofit.

Weird....
