Hi, have 3 " lift and noticed your lower arm adjusters are opposite to mine, who wheel aligned yours?, Do you get real flighty steering with lift. Cheers Drew66

They are 20+ offset off a Prado design, no rubbing. They should fit fine with the 2" lift

You can get it but don't get caught. Save yourself three grand and go to Ultimate Suspension on the GC. They have the Ultimate kit there which is the same as Snakes but half the price, about $3000 fitted for 4 inches.

Hey SR06, I live in QLD so wasn't allowed to get the Snake kit. I got the same result using caloffroad struts and longer coils. The Snake kit is great for getting all angles back to stock but I wasn't too keen on dropping the diff. You won't get any more travel then in stock form unless you add aftermarket shocks and coils which aren;t included in the price. Its an expensive option compared to what i did which was half, and I fitted the size tires I wanted and it drives like a dream. The angles are average so as soon as I think its affecting the mechanicals, Ill sort out some stronger cvs or tie rods.

Cheers Doinit, the cvs's aren't too bad now that its settled a bit. There are a few places coming out with heavy duty boots which won't rub. Then again its only a rubber boot, its more the cv that I'm worrying about. Its a shame that Toyota's keep the cv's spinning regardless if its in 2wd or not. Body roll with lift has been eliminated, the cornering is fantastic and have much more predictable control in the rear end. As for STT's, can't say enough good things about them! They are quiet, corner and brake nicely, great in the wet and couldn't be happier.

Nice looking ute GreenHilux. Yeah ouch with the cvs, there has to be a mod out there somewhere to assist. With vehicle being higher & Cooper STTs, doesn't your cornering capabilites become compromised? I'm not poiniting the stick . . just genuinely interested.

hey Dust, the Cal kit is fantastic. I struggled to decide which kit to finish with out of ARB, TJM etc and settled on the Cal kit cause of the 3" lift aspect. The strut is good for at least 80mm but we finished with over 100mm due to longer coils and leafs from Dobinson. The ride and cornering are fantastic, the steering im sorting out and after a few weeks with the winch, the front has settled to about 85 mm. The cv boots are binding but won't be sure of any long term damage for a while.

Hey nice ute! What do you think of the Cal offroad lift setup? Been thinking about getting it for mine.
