Well well well lol after a week away at work i finaly have the lux back!!! woo hoo !!!
Lucky it wasnt my turn to drive and i didnt need it or i would have made them pay for a hire car... but alls well that ends well as they say.
I went in to pick it up and no discount... but... wait here we have something for you they said a nice box full of goodies, they finaly realised that after all the trouble i had been thru eith them i still went back and i was still nice, so after i gave them a bomb and let them know exactly how i felt and enough was enough they finaly decided to loook after me.
I got the compressor, tyre inflation kit and speedy seal kit which was apart of the deal bt they also thru in a snatch strap, recovery gear bag, 2 bow shackels, another speedy seal kit, tyre guage and a ezi tyre delfator and a few other little bits which including the commpressor is over $800 woth of free stuff so i was happy again and after many appologies all was good.

Looks like they done a good job with the lines through... Mine is just bare air hose... may have to copy that idea and give them a bit more protection..

Great score on the kit... there a good setup and the bag is good value also..

They look like they have done a nice job Drew (finally) , mine is bare hose too.

I bought a couple of extra metres of air line and some joiners from ARB just in case I damaged the line out in the bush. Cheap insurance I reckon. ;)

YEh i was supprised to see the conduit over the line, i didnt expect them to do it so it was good to see some one do a decent install, i even re installed the stienbauer as it wasnt neat enough for me lol I will still definatly get an air line repair kit for the tool roll though..

Its coming along nicely, have you rewired the switches yet? I have found being able to select front or rear independantly to be advantageous. Its also easy to do I did mine after the first trip and getting a rear failure I couldnt use the front to get out of trouble. Although after we got up the hill we changed over the wiring on the solenoids so I could use the front. Just imo safer that if you rip off a rear air line on a steep track you dont lose the front also.

Hey boof what do you mean by rewiring the switches?

I thought they were already independent.

The way ARB wire them in, the front locker won't work without the rear locked in..

they do it cos the rear is stronger there for using it first and use the front only if nessasary. but in my case front is all i got so that theory goes out the window lmao

I also got myself some ARB tie down points, going to copy diegothecat and mount my shovel and hilift on it as well as a better tie down for the fridge etc.
Oh and a brake adjustment tool to adjust the rear brakes... handbrake not working too well anymore

They do it because they have to idiot proof them ;) Just be aware that if you ever fit a rear they will swap the lines over and you will be back to standard.

Drew the truck is coming along nicely 8-)
