Technical articles by members?

Postby 9W6VX on Fri, 07 Nov 2008 10:46 +0000

Guys,

I need your help as I want to copy or cross reference the technical articles in the shed profile and paste it in the appropriate forum section. I will also make it a sticky so that it will always be available for all members.

So, please post here and let me know if you did put up a technical article before we moved to the current upgraded format.

I have got a few enquiries asking where the technical articles were and with everyone's co-operation I can make the technical articles appear as sticky and always on top.

All I need is your name here and I'll check out your shed profile and then put up a post to cross reference to your shed profile.

As an example:

Skog07 - SR breather kit (front)
Skog07 - Rear diff breather (SR + SR5)
Tomuch - Speaker replacement
Tomuch - Genuine Toyota bonnet strut fitment
Roly - Compressor Install Under backseat
rodw - Installing Utemart flares
rodw - How to fit K&N recovery points
Dave - Seat belt beeper removal
Dave - Key in ignition beeper removal
jcarter - Installing UHF into Hilux
berniecam - Spare wheel mod D4D/V6

(i have edited and added those that I can recall/find. Will add the links later))
Cheers

Brendon

Not exactly mate. But your post has been moved to the hall of fame ........ under tips & tricks.

I am actually looking for all the old technical articles which are under the individual's profile.

Hope you get what I mean........

Great idea Brendon, there were some great ideas there.

Now you can edit, the ones that should not be there can be trashed or moved.

I have posted a sticky on the tips & tricks section.

Please post here if there are any more technical articles which do not appear in the forum that have not added in the list.

Gday Brendon, you've done well mate. Excellent!

I've just knocked up a little script so we can see what was in the database from before, which will assist in finding old stuff -
