Moving Topics

Guys,

I will be moving the topics in the 'Off Topic' to the appropriate area slowly.

I will be working my way from 2006 and work towards the 2008 posts.

At the moment, I have done up to February 2007 and will start March 2007 in a short while.

Once I have completed this, you will find that the threads will be in the appropriate area. I am of course human and might have inadvertently moved it to the wrong place.

I have completed 2006 and will be doing October 2007 next. I have also merged some lengthy topics such as Clutch and tyres.

In this instance, I will stop at December 2007 posts and wait for you for our beer.

Off topic & all other sections are updated and current. As an example, 'past trips/events' now have a large number of threads.

Only the 'General Discussion' section is currently not completely updated yet. This section will be updated in time as Mark Barnes aka Tomuch does not have internet connection at the moment. That leaves me alone to sort it all out.

The site is now starting to transform into its new format well. I could image the hours spent of sorting out the threads and moving them to the appropriate topic would be incredible. Thanks for your effort, much appreciated.

Thank you for your encouragement.

Likewise to those who have posted here on this thread and also to those who have PM me with your kind words.

I sacrifice a lot of my time without any monetary reward to shift all the threads to the respective sections but yet there is one member here who is quick to criticize me. I accept I am only human and will invariably make mistakes when shifting through thousands of threads. I do NOT seek personal glory nor do I need everyone to thank me. I only ask for your understanding & patience while we are organizing here and if there are any issues please feel free to PM me or Mark Barnes.

Mark Barnes aka tomuch is moving home and is without internet connectivity for the next two weeks or so. That leaves me to try to get all the threads sorted out by myself. It would be easy for me to tell Mark Barnes that I have done my part and let him continue with the rest when he is online again. But I would like to sort this out ASAP so that all members will find the threads have been categorized into the respective sections for everyone's convenience.

It's all looking good Brendon. Listen to the people that mater and not those that are just here to critisize. This is a community where everyone should have thier say in a constructive manner without Prejudice. Listen to all and filter out the bs. We are still young here at www.newhilux.net so we need time to get it all perfect. We are not all computer literate and need things to be kept simple or well explained.
