Hi all,

Tapatalk just announced they have released version 2 which comes with a much better / modern interface and is a free upgrade for existing tapatalk users!

Free Upgrade
All your existing Tapatalk users can receive free upgrade to Tapatalk 2 from Google and Amazon App Store. No strings attached.

New Interface and New Platform
Say good-bye to antique interface, Tapatalk 2 re-invented a new way to navigate forums on Android, enticing loyal members to crank up their post count while on-the-go. Works great on Android 4.0 and Kindle Fire

Account Sync
Tapatalk 2 syncs forum accounts among their mobile devices - it means your forum will show up on every device they use. Works on iPad, iPhone, Android phone, tablets and BlackBerry.

What the benefits to downloading this? I just got a notification on my blackberry for this and would like to know upfront. Does it allow me to upload photos directly into threads via my mobile or do I still need to host them somewhere?

Works a bit better, different layout etc. Photos can be uploaded using Tapa if you are platinum.

Is it really that much better than just using the browser on your phone? The last couple days I keep getting the pop-up on my phone for me to download tapatalk. I normally just press cancel and it goes away but lately it keeps popping up every time I click on a thread or something in the forum. It drives me up the wall! :x It also signs me out all the time too so I have to keep signing back in. Is there a way to stop it?

Cheers,

Chris.

I think tappatalk is that much better on my iPhone. I don't know what platinum is, but I paid 2 or 3 bucks for the app. I upload fotos directly from my phone. It is all so much easier. I see all unread topics clearly. It is a simple layout. Which makes me wonder, how much better is tappatalk2 ? Anyone have it on iPhone? Any bugs still not worked out?

Yeah tappa talk is way better at browsing the forum on the iPhone. Especially "recent topics" since you last signed In. The search function let's it down though IMHO

Has anybody downloaded the ap for iPad? Is it worth it? I think the search function is very ordinary, not sure if it is just because I use ipad or if it is the same on pc?

The problem I find using te search is narrowing the search fields, like wanting to search 'winch' then within the results that come up, narrow it down to 'warn' if you get my drift?

Cheers
