Yep, the White Rhino's got the 'Crossmember Flu' as well so I'll have a good look under it after work tomorrow. Maybe this is why it shudders under load ??
The thought of all the pis-ing about to drop it off and get to work, then pick it up again doesn't please me at all, then there's the thought of a pimpley school kid on 'Work Experience' doing the actual inspection -------------

Mine is also 'infected' Sept 09 edition.
Had it in for its 30 000 service at toyota today and of course they did not mention the recall.

On another note, in the service i asked them to replace one headlight protector that had shattered on some native fauna. Of course they said you could only buy them as a pair.
So, you would expect them to fit the 2 new ones and leave the 1 spare in the cab for possible future use... I should have checked but didnt and now i have to go back tomorrow to pick it up 'If they can find it'.
That was after waiting 50mins when they called me to say it was ready to be picked up.
The only reason I get it serviced at the dealer is were locked into $170 services.

Dealerships make me :) :|

Great, I hate having a reason to take it back to the usual place... hopefully they don't scratch underneath of my Hilux while fitting up the bracket or I'll be spitting it !!

Yeh a mate was telling me he heard it on the radio today at work. He drives a navara so i didnt belive him and had to check on here lol. will have to check oj when i get back home. HAHAHA extreme drivers lol what a load  I agree on the only 19....... lots more clutches.. no recall.... although droping a tailshaft at 110kmh on the highway is prob a bit more of a saftey concern than a slipping clutch
Im not stuck..... Im thinking

Wow sounds like you have had fun – They can’t even remember to put the sump plug back in yet we are going to let them drill holes in our chassis!!

I would much prefer to do this mod myself!!

Same clunk noise in the rear for last few months , annoying to say the least. Window noise and gear change clunk.
