HI, fairly new to offroading and just wondering what is involved in a suspension lift? don't want to go really high jsut enough to get bigger tires.Has anybody had any experience with rancho quiklift and if so do i need to do anything to back suspension or will that just level out the truck?any feedback would be appreciated8-)

two options. One will set you back $300 and make the car look taller or fork out the 1500 plus to get something that looks good but works well. Ranchos are a great allrounder, but made and valved for US conditions. Stick to ARB, TJm, Bilstein for a kit made for Aus conditions. The rule of thumb is 50mm for a legal lift involving longer coils and struts plus leaves in the back. There is a strut spacer kit which will give two inches for 300 bucks but only by shifting your original suspension lower so no more travel. Go the extra bit to improve the ride.

I just had a Skyjacker 3" kit go on with longer coils and finished with more than 4 inches. Now that it has settled it rides like a dream, bigger tires work amazing offroad and couldn't be happier with the result.
