diff lockers

Heading to the Watagans tomorrow with another person from this forum, so mybe photos to come. O the road behind the wheel I can feel the differet road manners, coasting around the corner just like normal, when you put the power done it locks in and the inside wheel will spin to catch up with the other one, so tyreware will be going up. I was giving it a few berries on the wet road last night and seems ok so far. Best thing compared to the old Detroit is they don't make a big bang when they engage, so the wife does not know.

diff lockers

Ran a trial on my new front and rear Air Lockers and all I can say is WOW!

So much more control ond ascending difficult tracks. Tracks that needed momentum before were easy, no wheel spin so better on the tracks. No drama if wheel lift etc.

What was I thinking when I didn't have diff locks??

At work the other day I had to get my trailer up an uneven bank. In low range 4 I came to a stop half way up with opposing wheels spinning. I clutched in, braked, flicked the rear diff lock on, clutched out and released the brake without letting the ute roll back out of it's position. Then I continued up the hill as if nothing had even stopped me in the first place. Definately a worthwhile investment.
