I don't think I'll have any install photos as I'll be dropping the lux off and taking the wife's car to work, told her the cars in for a service, no what I mean.8-)

Thats a lot of fun

with regards to the lockright/lokka style diff locks.

If installed in the front dif in 2wd there would be no effect on steering/activating(no lound noise in full lock situations), and it would only work when in 4wd mode, but still give a decent benefit in wheel spin situations???

Hi guys,

I just installed front and rear ARB diff lockers on my 07hilux,i decided this after a trip i did and i couldnt get up a hill as not only was my front open wheeling ,but so was my rear,so much for toyota's lsd,it dont work ! after installing the lockers,i tackled the same hill and was able to climb it at 15 to 20km/h,i basically crawled up there and it didnt even feel like the engine was working hard.In my opnion if ur going 4wding,the lockers are certainly the goer !

regards sonny

I'd have to agree with your take on the LSD.... mine is almost none existant. Many times I've had to resort to using the handbrake to engage the rear wheels properly... as for the front... pfff....

Next years mods for me though... :(

Toyota's LSD are notoriously known for their ineffectiveness even when new.

I wish I could find the electric locker option provided to European countries for the rear axle on condition that it's cheaper than ARB air locker.
