My home made sliders touched the Cabin body of the ute when I hit a washout etc. They needed to be relocated away from the body, so I took a few pics for those who might like to make some.
Jack ute up and be safe, you will spend a bit of time under there
Disconnect battery, for safe welding including auxillary
Also unplug any thing you can find, behind glove box in this case. Overkill? yes, Safe? yes.

Supported, I used a couple of Koppers, strapped to chassis with ratchet straps
Got the grinder out and cut them off
Cleaned up ready for new brackets
They were made using steam pipe and manufactured bends
Clamp in place after packing to correct hieght and width
Hold bracket in place and tack weld
Ready to go back in
