Had tow bar fitted to 2016 sr5 comes with shims to reduce slop and rattle. Havnt fitted them yet so don't know how easy it will be to take tongue out after fitting shim pack.ih8ubarney wrote:I have the factory tow bar... Haven't towed anything, my only gripe is there doesn't appear to be an anti rattle screw/bolt.so if your luckily enough to tow a poorly balanced trailer the insert is gunna rattle like a bastard.
Not real happy about that.
Also a question for anyone else with a factory tow bar..... Did they give you load rated shackles? Are they supposed to?

What are the shims like Metal/Plastic? I have the same issue no anti rattle bolt and will be towing. I didn't receive any shims with mine!.
