Lundy wrote:hey guys,
Just want to bump this thread into the news feeds again. Im looking for an under-tub tank, curious if there are any new products since this thread was last commented on over a year ago. I've been looking at the 18L one off ebay, looks small but seems like good use of the space. Anyone ever thought about putting 2 under the tub. 1 next to where the first one goes? would it fit?

Dear nxc323,
Could you please tell me how this tank gets filled when installed. Is the outlet on the bottom the only outlet in it?
Thanks

Dear lundandre,
Yes that is how you fill it. The hose fitting is in the kit supplied ready to go. I run 2 outlets on mine one on either side of the Ute for when the Ute is on a bit of a lean.
and this
Hi mate you fill tank with the outlet hose. Open valve and fill up. There is a breather in top also and there is 2 outlets not shown in pictures as its an older version, will update pictures soon.

Not the biggest capacity, but it certainly made good use of the small space available. Was very easy to install. Probably longest part was dropping and lifting the spare wheel!
Here's what was supplied. There was supposed to be some foam strips that were supposed to assist in keeping the brackets in place whilst installing. I think I tossed them in the bin by mistake though. Didn't make installation hard by any means. Instructions supplied are more than adequate.
The two white dots are the breathers. Almost looks like cotton wool. Not sure if they will end up getting clogged with dust. Time will tell. You might need to click on the image to see the breathers. My bad cropping
The mounting brackets line up perfectly with existing holes.
Hose adapter that screws into the tank comes with thread tape already applied.
I ended up using an irrigation right angle adapter (not supplied, but cheap from hardware) to get the outlet where I wanted on the tow bar. A few zip ties to lock it in position and job done!

Anyone have photos of a decent tank they have successfully mounted under a tub / chassis? 50-70lt would be a good start and something that does not interfere with a future long range tank.
I got rid of the tray and back to a tub so now chasing a product that fits, solid and works. Extra cab too so I have a little bit more room.
Cheers in advance.
