im rocking a stock 2.8l
the only time you'll notice the difference or shortage in power is in a mud pit, or bog hole
the rest of the time lockers, good tyres, and decent suspension will do the rest
I've got lsd front and rear, but wish i had lockers(never had the $$$ at the time)
i went this way to keep the cost down and the repair bills down after each trip
as far as off set of wheels, I've got no idea on that, my rig came with 16x8 when i brought and i just used them
my list of mods would be
in this order would be
lift
2" body lift
3" spring with no extended shackles
wheel alignment
caster wedges and new front and rear drive shafts
diff breathers to suit new lift
purchase 80 series master and booster (as long as you have 4 bolt master(if not order adaptor kit and run 1" bore gm))
good set of 32-33" tyres
fit brake upgrade
lockers with air tanks
winch (or winch then lockers)
as far as performance it wouldn't worry me having any as i have more then 1 car, so power don't concern me, when i want to go fast i just take my other car for a so called hoon
farting is alot like jxxxxxg off. both provide instant gratification, but neither is a long term solution to the actual problem......................
