I like this comment "My goal for the ute is to try and find the perfect half way point between ultimate 4x4, daily driver and the perfect, most practical tourer."
I think we all want that!!

Then we realise we can't have it and just start building a beast
Diezel45 wrote:Just a very small update, finally got the "Folding Back Seat Mod" done and I have no idea why it took me so long to do it. The easiest and cheapest and best mod that you will ever do to your Dual Cab. Anyone not sure if its worth it, IT IS! So much more room.
Have ordered my wheels and Tyres but their is a wait on the +10 offset rims. So as soon as they get here I will finally have some shoes under the Lux. I know as soon as I put them on I will want 285's but oh well.
I really gotta stop reading the fitting 35" tyres thread, because I am even contemplating that. I think ill get 265's and if I feel like I need 285's then ill get them and then I will have to have a long hard think about whether I need 35's or not.
Also, I was also smart enough to go halves with the old man in a new mig welder for his fathers day present. so going to seriously start thinking about building the tray pictured above. but first job with the new welder will be a set of rock sliders.
well that's all for now.
cheers
