Personally I do it because I love having a new car every 3 years

That's harsh mate , its not about bein poor. I can't justify a 55 gee car if all ya gonna do is jack it up and put huge tires on it to look good. No offence mate but a 24 year old who says he ain't poor is either still on the tit, or started out on a good wicket. Try bein a 24 year old who has four kids, left home at 18 and is still tryin to make a name for himself.
I look at my old man buying 200 k kenworths and driving it in to the ground everyday to put food on the table, that's how I justified spending 45 4 years ago, driving over a 100k everyday, to put food on the table. And I am poor, and proud of it. Not just driving to work in my fancy polished car and staring across the road at it all day, jumping in at five driving 15 home to park it in the shed.
I'm not sayin you are, but I hate showponys, and can't stand comments like that.
Poor and proud!
Stevo.

I'm with you on the kids with cash lifestyle. I'm not jealous, just sorry that they'll never get the point....
I feel there's more to life than money its just a pain in the ass that its the only thing that keeps the lights on at night.
