Updated features for hilux oct 2010

I have been looking at buying a hilux and have just been told by 2 dealers and then toyota that they have some new features to come out , around oct 2010. 17 in wheels and vehicle stability control are some things mentioned . Whats everyones opinion on this , i have heard that the vsc can be a pain when 4x4 , but then i have also heard stories of it saving some people from losing control of the car. i guess it will be the same as the kluger and 200 series , can the vsc be switched off,

I think these features will be only available on the SR5 so if you dont want vsc I think you will have to buy the SR. dont know about turning it off, you would think it could be though. We have just got a new 200 series and I think it can be turned off in it, will have to check as its the wifes car.
