I did the Toyota FJ Cruiser launch in Homebush 2 weeks back. They had about 35 cars out there that we flogged around various roads and purpose built 4wd tracks. Not bad cars. They are bassically a 150 Prado with a funky exterior and better approach, departure and break over angles. V6 auto only. Rear diff lock as standard.
Cheers Rod

spec change, not shape change....I dont think they'll do a diesel model unless they can get guarantees for other markets around the world.

Well i had a look at the fj at the local dealer today!
First impressions is that i really do like it, its bold and out-there look i dont mind. As for the interior, i aint a massive fan, the dash is just too big and yells out 'look at me'. There is a shit load of leg room for the front seats but the back you would have to be a midget to fit in comfortunatley, no room at all! The cargo has a fare bit of room, which actually suprised me!
I didnt take it for a drive as i just couldnt of been bothered, just i was kind of impressed!!

I did the same, spent 40min opening and shuting everything getting under and in it folding and moving everything and no sales man came near me lol 2 walked past looked at me and kept walking... bet they would have stopped if i was wearing my rio tinto shirt instead of an old quicksilver one lol although i shouldnt be supprised they did the same thing when i wanted a lux so i left there and drive 400kms to the next dealer and bought it there.

The fj is alot smaller than i thought it would be and like jack said the rear seats have as much room as my extra cab....... still thinking maybe lol
Im not stuck..... Im thinking
