"We've got facelifts for the Camry and Aurion, we have special editions for RAV, Corolla and Yaris, we have technical changes on HiLux, HiAce and 70-Series, and we have a new-generation Prado," says Toyota Australia's head of sales and marketing, Dave Buttner.

interesting.....who would like to speculate on what it is?

Im guessing the Upgraded diesel, and 16" wheels with bigger brakes.....thou wishful at best......

I would expect a change to the diesel to meet upgraded emissions targets (Euro 4) by July 2010 although I think that has already been done.

My hope would be the 5 speed auto on the upgraded diesels to improve economy in light of the new green push?????

Please!!
I have nothing good to say down here so I wont say anything at all

Hey guys I have also ordered a new SR5 dual cab TD in dusty grey. Ordered in June and went into Townsville Toyota last r&r and was told delivery end of Sep. Salesman showed me the list of upgrades for Hilux but wouldn't let me keep the paper. For SR5 there is a new injection system for turbo diesel, new sport seats, new door trim, curtain airbags. The model to score most is the SR. The price rise is $1700. For anyones info I should be driving away no trade about $ 52700.

Homer72,

yeah thats pretty much the same as what I am paying. I don't think the sales guys really know much about what the new changes are apart from the cosmetic ones. I got told no mechanic changes but as you said a new injection system for the turbo diesel is definately a change in my view.

Mine is meant to be getting built in Thailand at the end of August and arrive middle to the end of Septemeber. I would say closer to the end of September.
