I want to let you guys know that there is a small batch of SR Hilux's about to be released on the market, so if you know anybody who is about to purchase a Hilux SR then pass this on to them to hassle the dealers about.
They are effectively, TRD rejects.
Nothing wrong with them, but TRD had ordered a bunch of SR V6 Hilux Dual Cab 4x4's, Im assuming auto's as the supercharged ones are auto, with front spot lights, colour coded grills, and slightly wider steel wheels with SR5 tyres. They actually resemble the SR5 spare wheels.
They are not supercharged, and there is nothing wrong with them, TRD just changed their minds about what they where going to do with them so they will be put back onto the market, thou nobody's sure how toyota will market them, whether as an official limited edition or just quietly letting the dealers know and mentioning it to prospective customers.
