Hi all,

I have found a proformance chip for Tacoma/hilux on eBay, it's called "fuel maxx" it's only about $25 and claims to increase horsepower by 30 and give 50% better throttle response.
Has anyone heard of these or even use them if so do they actully work?

Anything that drastically changes an engines running , you'd expect woud have a lot of reliable information available

I know I wouldn't be putting a $25 dollar product that claims those numbers onto the motor of my $50k truck. :roll:

The Sprint Booster works incredibly well on the Petrol's. It's a safe and proven performance product. Jap filmed this a while ago on his TRD.

Monster Rides has developed their own exhaust headers and full system that totaly transforms the performance of the Hilux's V6 engine. Have a read bout it in our vendor thread. Thou a little bit more than the 25 bux of this advertised product but the results and gains are proven!

Sprint booster just alters throttle response. Frankly my v6 is pokey and instant to my mind.

Anyone have reco for actual performance Chips for v6? Ie alter the tune / timing / power / torque
