need advice on exhausts

iv got an 2006 sr5 4x4 extra cab hilux, im going to get a chip and exhuast for it. im looking at either a 2 3/4 inch or 3 inch full stainless mandrel bent system, but unsure which would get better performance out of. if anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.
