hey, has anyone out there installed aftermarket guages( like air pressure, volts, amps etc) in a single cab sr? ive spent some time ponderin, thinkin and drinkin, but no idea where theyre gunna go. some help please guys, photos would be awesome too. or maybe theres digital or l.e.d. ones out there somewhere, some sort of skinny thing. maybe a market there for someone?

I've seen pics for Prado & Landcruisers, where they set the guages up along the drivers-side dash pillar.

ta doinit i dont think ill be doin that though, vis is bad enoughwith a monsoon on as well though thats gotta go. had a good look at new lux with safari snorkel today, terrible viz with that, owner wasnt very happy with it either, maybe airtec will be better.

I've got an airtec & have no probs with it for viz.
If it stops drizzling tomorrow, WOW we've got moisture yeeha! About time!! I'll take a couple of pics from inside my car & post them here.

thanks for the help guys, much appreciated. photos of airtech snorkel have convinced me to get one of those, ya can hardly notice it. might need it soon, that crappy nsw weather has just started hitting my place here in nz. im still trying to find some lo profile (is that the word?!) digital guages. turning out to be more of a mission than i thought. kapai, woodstok

Has anyone thought of using the OBD connector to hook upto and get the readings from it. If you have an in car DVD screen (carputer) you can display (and log) the info hopefully. (You can in most cars, just need the right attachment cable from ebay and to know the codes)...
