Have received it and it works, hooray!! Haven't driven anywhere yet but it connects, shows RPM etc..I've spent the last couple of years trying various OBD devices so its great to find something that works.. :D

My Fuel temp sits around 121c, in response to an earlier post. Engine coolant seems to sit 85-90c.

Cheers

Just catching up on this thread again. In relation to the fuel cooler, it is my understanding that it is on the return line to the tank so it cools the diesel after it goes through the common rail at up to 156,000 kPa (thats about 22,500 psi before anyone asks).

Becasue of this, I don't think you will see a significant change in temps between Brendon's engine fuel temp and those we have with the fuel cooler unless you were running on empty.

Mine arrived yesterday, just fitted it.
Pretty easy to install, just velcro onto the dash mat for now.
Mine also came up with the low battery alarm streight away at 11.9 volts but i tested my battery and it shows 12.5volts and starts fin all the time. could this have anything to do with haveing dual batterys?

Cheers Darren

G'day Darren :)
Mine gives me the alarm every morning, showing as low as 11.5 volts, but I've never had any dramas with flat batteries. Mine doesn't have dual batteries, so that can't be the cause.

Mine arrived the other day and works well. My only concern being engine temperature sitting on 92 C when on the highway. Was a pretty warm day ( 35 ) but only sitting on 110kph. I would hate to see the temp when I really work it hard.
Any thoughts?

just wondering if the speedo on these things are accurate or just the same as the standard speedo reading?

is there any way to get them to read the second battery voltage?

The speedo is adjustable. I have mine adjusted to allow for the larger tyres.

Not sure about the Second Battery Voltage, though.
