Diesel Engine Problem!

Hi everyone,
I dont know if this has already been covered before.

My 05 diesel lux has started making a knocking sound in the front of the engine, and then when i got home i listened again and it was making a whining sound .

Not sure what it is i never heard it before.. Can anyone help please.

it might be an idea to consult the powers to be b4 it's outta warranty

knocking noise is proubly an injector toyota are doing a feild fix on this i should hear somthing by the end of the week.

what do you mean by a "feild fix" ?

thats what they keep tellling me it just mean that there maybe recall or tech line on the proublem where they can upgrade software to help with this
