Sway bar removal

Over the past 12 months I mostly haven't had the sway bar fitted. Had ultimate suspension fitted up until the weekend when I fitted DMS in the front. Still no sway bar. Flex and the feel offroad without it is heaps better! On road is ok, plenty of body roll. With the dms adjusted to hard the body roll is still there, the initial feel isn't as quick but it's still there especially on big bends and round abouts. Doesn't bother me unless I'm loaded up for work or for a longer trip with the family when ute is packed, then I make sure I find the time to fit it before the trip. I plan on running the sway bar again for sure, miss the stability on road.

Without the sway bar and 33's you would definitely be hitting the guards on compression, I'm about an inch off touching now and I've got a 2 inch body lift and not heaps of tread left. Up travel was the same on both sets of suspension. Droop is a bit more with dms

No sway bar...

So I have my bar back on( just had another service interval at Toyota). Can't believe the difference on job sites with the lack of front end travel.
So when is monster rides bringing out auto swaybar disconnects .

Can I remove the sway bar with the wheels on the ground ? I remember trying to tighten a bolt on a mates celica and the bolt just snapped.

Iam thinking about removing the sway bar, from what i read here its both good and bad, i dont patically like the sliding sway bar links myself, few mates have got them but dont like them.

If you did have an accident, wouldnt the insurance company auctally have to prove that not having the sway bar was the cause of the accident????

Iam not sure, i just dont want to have an accident then have my insurance wiped :?

If your that worried dont take it out. If they figure out its being removed I'm positive they won't be impressed.
