Park brake light

Park brake light

Hilux o5 My park brake light has come on ,my dash so I have checked
Parkbreak switch
Oil res
They are all good but the light will go out if I jump on the brakes hard and them take my foot of , then 3 sec later the light comes on ????
dont give up till its broken and then try 1 more time

Check that the float in the fluid res is actually floating. When you push the brakes a little squirt of fluid from the master cylinder might be pushing the float back up causing the light to go out.
Just an idea. :)

I feel so silly it was low fluid
dont give up till its broken and then try 1 more time

usally when the fluid is too low on the breaks then there is a leak. or you pads are stuffed
