Headlights can be replaced, and well by the looks of your bar even they dont save headlights

And its different, I rarely see our models with Xrox bars and when i see them its instant jizz in pants because they look mean

How much do you reckon they go for? Because i could probably sell my bar once i buy the Xrox

the reason my lights got smashed was because of the gaurd. and the head light still worked.

you can get the bars of ebay for 1050 posted or i seen them for 1040 on another site, dunno about postage tho

Well i was floating around in the Monster rides section and found they can get them for $900+. Dunno if that offer still holds would have to ask, But im also wondering, Seeing in MR section their "New" Hilux you could see all the bottles (Like water, Coolant Etc) was am wondering if they arent seen on our model. Since the pictures youve showed me dont give me a front on look

coolant bottle and winshield washer is behing the frame, the little bottly style thing you would have seen is for th a/c. they can be moved though.

ive only just startd lookin for a bar ( and only vaguely). ill be askin around every where soon as i get my bus back.

dollar better in my pocket than someone elses,

(altho i have *wasted* 1700 now to fines and repairs )

I dont mind it, but now im thinking all that will be exposed when offroading, I dunno. Ill have to see what i want when the money comes in. But the Xrox will still be there in my mind

you could get a tube bar with wings on it it your worried about your headlights?
only need the wings if you plan on doin 60ks thru a tight track

ill jus be running a set of light and bonnet protectors.

Might have to see whats out there in "Custom made" bars. Hilux's are horrible so many things i want now and no money

not much of an update on the lux as of yet..................

despite DOING THE BOLTS UP on the new bar after getting it back, tightening up the bolts on the spotties, puttin waterproof wiring terminals on it and re-doing the wiring so the indicator wasnt wired into the park light



and got a photo of how my old hilux looks now


painted white, new tray, 3" body lift and 35" claws

scrub a tad but will give the torsion bars another inch and maybe put in the extended shackles ive got

Nice one... maybe you should have installed the bar yourself, sounds like you did most of the work anyway

haha yer. last weekend projects were re-aligning the bonnet and gaurd, still have to move bull bar ill get there one day

yer mate, they just getting the front end right (they have it for 2 weeks so far) then will be new gaurd, bonnet, bull bar, flares, paint, and back in my drive way

definately getting one if i can sell the new bar im getting for my bus.
(which will be a brand new, tjm steel bar, winch compatable, and all the other mounts -so ill be after $1000)

white one had 37s but gone back to 35s now and the silver one has 35s too.


yer ive decided no more mods for the hilux time to upgrade.

thinking along the lines of something with a 6.0L v8 a.k.a. SS Thunder

sold the hilux just before christmas to upgrade to something with a little bit more power and a lot more comfort.
