Hi guys,

Just joined up here to get some more info before buying a hilux for an engine conversion. It will be a turbo LS1 I have lying around in the shed doing nothing and was inspired to put it in a 4wd and was suggested a hilux..

Bring it on! Id love to see that lol I always tell the misses one morning when she wakes up there will a ls1 in the hilux and d4d in the ss haha

Seen a few Hiluxes go around for sale with broken engines. You are probably best off looking for a cheap non-runner.

Keen to follow how you go with the project.
