Hey guys.

Hey guys.

Postby qberus on Tue, 07 Sep 2010 2:41 +0000

Been a while since i joined here but never had a chance to say hello so here it is - Hello everyone :D.

My name is Mike and I'm from Poland, country where pickups like Hilux gained popularity very recently. As i was always dreaming of it I finally got one in 2007. Now when the car got older the time has come for some modyfying, so I'm digging through all that info You've put here. It's awesome source of inspiration and wisdom :).

I wish I could join U there on those perfect offroad grounds, unfortunatedly it's a bit far so I'll see u on the forum only :(

Cheers
Mike

Ohh that was vicious

But YES !! Like most man photos turn me on  so hit me. I'll definitely visit those places ... some day ... when my kids grow up ... and when i get used to a thought of seeing all those poisonous spiders and snakes every day :o

Anyway. Thanks for this warm welcome :D

Soon i will post few pics of my beauty changed a bit. Nothing special but i will be happy to share and hear few advices on future mods.

Cheers

Is this a common misconception with Australia :? :? :? or are all Australian's supposed to uphold this reputation to stop the country from being invaded???

qberus, you know i have never seen a brown snake except in a glass tank at the reptile park and i only ever see the occassional redback around the house.. I have also never seen a funnel web and I was born in Australia...

Don't let the fear of the snakes and spiders keep you away ,,

I do however, have a pet kangaroo... ;)

     thats what i call a perfect commercial :ugeek:

speaking of commercials, here's one i found a while ago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1Hr5GbRC7Q and i just love it :D

Naisie it was more like a joke but things i know about Australia is mostly taken from National Geographic and Discovery and you know ... danger sells better so i only see those beautiful beaches when they show a poisonous jellyfish or a shark attack ;)

When i think of a possibility of hearing the original sound of didgeridoo and those open spaces no spiders and snakes can keep me from going there one day :D

Oh and i already own a hilux so they should let me pass through the border 8-)

Mate,
start your Australian visit in Darwin in the Northern Territory....just one night out on the town in our niteclub precinct, and you will never fear crocodiles, poisonous snakes and spiders....ever again. Our human wildlife is much more dangerous...... ! BTW, good choice, the Hilux, wont let you down, but is gunna cost squillions in mods !

My fuel pump just said "Hello, new valve would serve me well !!" - disapointing. I heard its bacause it's too weak for a DP chip but still ... it was supposed to be invincible :(

      I thought drop bears were invented by Terry Pratcheett for the book but after looking at the Wiki i felt of the chair, and hoop snakes ?!? i still can't get up from the floor :D

You think this http://www.murdoconline.net/pics/cpe1.html would be ok to keep me safe :?: ;)

Welcome mate.

I don't know what these guys are making all the noise about, everyone knows land squids are the most lethal, tyre-eating cephlapods out there.

When i was a kid, we had a real kangaroo problem... (I live in melbourne).. they were always on the road causing accidents, I was afraid to go outside in the evening in fear of being attacked by a gang of kangaroos.. but we had a couple of them as pets that we'd raised since babies and they were ok..

its much better these days, what with all the extra people immigrating to Australia, cause now we can round them up every day and have BBQ's.. before there was just too many of them.. and they get angry when you get near them !

and.... you know they causing problems overseas as well .. !
