Buying a new petrol SR5 d/cab this month. Stumbled across this forum by mistake. How good is it !! Everybody helpful and it has also helped answer some questions I had. Coming out of a 02 Sr5 d/cab and this one I'm decking out right from word go.
Getting a Charcoal Grey Hilux with 2" Tough Dog with adjustables, low line Toyota(ARB) canopy, colour coded Speedliner(spray on ute liner), Ironman bullbar ad 9500lb winch, Long range 150ltr tank, Safari snorkel, 3440 GME uhf, Lightforce HID'S, new Toyota Chrome Grill, Rotronics Dual battery system and front and rear ARB Diff Lockers. Wife has selected a set of Helo Chrome rims but I'm still deciding whether to go 16" or 17" with a set of Mickey T ATZ 4ply. Love to go 17" but scared with only 2" lift tyres may scrubb? If any one can help me with this I would really appreciate your advice.

Welcome Batman76, You seem to have it all pegged out mate. Your right, this is an excellent forum and personally, I have a lot of time for some of the guys here, even though I've only been with them a short while.

I can't help you with your mods, their your choices, but if you want advice, fit them yourself! Just kidding.

This forum will eventually fill up and overflow with info and already you can find the information you need by using the search feature. Watch the trips and events and try participate where you can for fun if you want to.

I hear ya mate. I've become a bit of a junkie myself in these respects, but you have to draw the line somewhere unlike some of the guys on here that need to attend modaholics anonymous or something hehe.

My rig has arrived and have had the canopy and grill fitted straight away. Have attached some photos. Hope i'm putting this in the right place.



Waiting on Rims to arrive from America but suspension, lockers, fuel tank, winch & bullbar ( just been painted) are being fitted as we speak.

Still waiting on rotronics dual battery system to arrive and snorkel also being fitted.

Can't wait to take delivery Should be end of this week if rims arrive Where suppose to be here on Friday
