After being a member for a few months and also being involved in a few discussions, I thought it's time I actually said howdy to everyone and give you my background.
Rach and I live just outside Canberra. We are both in the Navy, Rach for 10+ years, me just about to tick over 22 years.
Before we upgraded to the hilux, we had a 2000 prado and a Falcon RTV ute. We alway wanted a D/C ute to combine what we had. We also wanted a "normal " car to do the family trips in... the prado just couldn't cut it for comfort (after all the offroad mods had been done).
So we found an ex-forestry 07 SR5 last xmas, and the rest is history. We also now have a 08 Ford G6E to look after the family commitments.
As my profile says, the 'lux will be built for touring in mind, We have our Challenge Camper trailer and the plans are there or an extended trip across aus, after my retirement (in a few years).
So hello to all I have met already trhough this forum, and giday to those I am yet to meet.

Yeah I tend to look but not comment too.
