Hello to everyone on New Hilux.net, terrific site and heaps of info.

Have a '96 2.8 since buying it new and still very happy with it, however a heavy trailer to tow for work has bought about an update. Must sell the olden, but still like it in the bush for clearance and indestructability.

The new single cab tray - 3l turbo 4x4 is a terrific vehicle and the power difference is eye opening!

One small problem with it, will post elsewhere to ask for opinions.

Welcome to the newhilux forum SambOz.
I was blown away with the performance of the diesel. Its my first one and will take alot of convincing to go back to a petrol vehicle..

Thanks SKOG, terrific site, have posted in General re steering shudder. Mmaaxx - you bin talkin to my better half, told her to keep quiet. Mind you after four kids its just decoration anyway!!

(PS....I keep thinking I'm driving a sports car or back on the two wheeled 1100 tourer, can't these 126KW'ers lift.....love em )
