Have you ever been sold or talked into something you did not need by a 4x4 work shop? From talking to different people it seems there are a few shops out their that just care about making money,I understand they need to make a living but there are people out their who are new to 4wding and rely on their advice.Thank goodness for forums.

This site is worse than any shop. Haha i was perfectly happy with my standard lux till i got on here. Now im waiting on my rekon gear and got a list of mods in the making longer than your arm.

i dont know about the guys at the shop making me buy more but whenever i go into a shop to get something specific i always come out with at least 1 or 2 things that i wanted lol

Mate I definitely have to agree with the above. I thought the standard Hilux was a very good package..... Until I went out wheelin in the rough stuff and realized I needed to buy so much more stuff to make it capable. Shouldn't web sites like this be governed by government officials and not by blokes who love showing off??

ive gotta admit, when i see someone with a bigger lift or something thats maybe better than what ive got i get a little green streak...then i think to myself "cmon dan, what youve got does everything you want it to do...AND YOUR BANK ACCOUNT DAN!!!!THINK OF THE BANK ACCOUNT!!!"

yer theyre pretty amazing...best mod by far! i have not regretted spending all the money on them

^^ agree, When you finish something on your lux you stand back and think F**K YEAHH! then you look at the bank and think aww F**K NOoooo =( but in the end its always worth it.
