First action was to get the tray sprayed with Rhino liner.. I was very happy with the job. Rhino only usually spray black but when I told old mate that I'd go elsewhere because I wanted colour he went out of his way and sprayed over the black with a poly paint with a colour i chose... It is quite tough I've had steel, river rock, a pallet of tiles pushed in with a forklift and it's held up great...

So this week is going to be spent (other than working) sorting rims and tyres.. after much study earlier in the year it pretty much came down to 16x8 black steelies with +10 offset and running 265/75/16 wranglers or bighorns... decisions decisions..

16x8 +10 offset Sunraysia style steelies don't exist in OZ, only GU Patrol stock steelies in that size.

Having said that, if you know of a 16x8 +10 sunnie please let us know.

Jd's build thread.... it is time..

Postby KTM525EXC on Sun, 03 Apr 2011 1:08 +0000

Ever since I first read about rhino lining I've been spewing I got the Toyota liner, that extra little bit of room that the rhino liner allows would mean my downhill bike could fit under the hard lid without removing the front tyre :D

Got a bit keen the other day and being tired of getting ray burn in the eye sockets from the reflection off the bull bar it was time to take action... starting to wonder why I paid extra for colour coded bullbar... Masked it up doing my best to follow the lines of the headlight...
