Zapperx's Hilux

Norway calling........
I just bought a 2007 Hilux and after driving slammed vw's for the last years this will be some different :D
Due to the norwegian laws when it comes to modify your car this will be a mild build-up. Today I put on the 32" MT's and the plans are 2" OME lift, Safari Snorkel and some other bits and pieces. I would love 33", 4" lift, ARB bull bar, winch+++, but like I said, the norwegian rules just wouldn't like that :(

Bull bar is no-go due to "vulnerable road users" and "the other one" in a crash, and when it comes to big tyres and lift a lot can be done actually, but the cost is f%#§ed-up and the process are long and sloooow. Arctic Truck can deliver up to 44" on Hilux but think I go for the easy 2" DIY solution ;)

welcome buddy, lux is looking good 8-)
so your rules are slightly more flexable than here in Aus but still relativly strict, you just need a deep wallet   The government only just recently here in Aus tryed to ban B/Bars :( but by the sounds of things B/Bars are here to stay.

Thats funny.... you cannot run a bulbar because its dangerous for pedestrians but you can jack your hilux up and fitt 44" tyres so that the factory front bumper/towhooks/bashplate can clean take off a pedestrians head at the same height

I'd give up my right to a bullbar to run 44's....
