CV Gully

This is where I did my swaybar link which ripped the CV boot off and Geek in the black triton snapped his CV.

Geek pick up a rubber boot thinking it was his looked under his car and then come over to me and said the boot was mine. Thought he was kidding me but has a look and grease everywhere.

No noise at all Selwyn, I thought with a metal part like that breaking it would have made a pop or something.

Would love to come along next time, for sure.
Next time your up there try turning out of some of those ruts like Wombat. I normally turn out of the rut just near the top to the right before that little sapling.. Your can get about 3-4 ft of air underneath outside wheel..
Lux is looking like a monster now mate, certainly eats up the terrain quite easily.

So a few things have been ordered over the couple of weeks.

Ordered a 3 pod pillar pod for the rig which I'm going to fill with the following gauges:

Auto Meter ultra-Lite EGT 52mm with probe in degrees C AU4344-M
Auto Meter ultra-Lite Auto Trans AU4351 No metric
Auto Meter ultra-Lite Water in degrees C AU4337-M

I have also ordered a Scott's Rods exhaust as part of a group buy on New Triton

Will post some pic's when things are being installed over the next few weeks.

P.S. did the other side CV boot on the weekend and destroyed the swaybar disconnects

Yep the bolt at the top with the moving connection (rose joint I think is what it's called) on it wore out and caused the swaybar to drop into the boot and the link itself to come up an rub a nice grove on the inside of the tyre.
