I like the empties sitting casually in the new tray and on the hydraulic press...my kind of workshop Darmo!! :D :D :D

He he. Yeah only one or two. and only after the jobs done for the night.

Cheers Bassman. Ah by the way are you a member of the Suothern Highland 4WD club? My Mrs parents got me a mebership for my birthday? Maybe we can do a trip one weekend?

And also noted that the "lables" are facing away from the camera...... Is Darmo a mag editor??? :lol:

Hey Guys,

Some more progress on the tray. The canopy frame is not complete. 50X50 bar join it from front to rear and then 3 25X50 rails across for support and strength. now i just gotta get it mounted on the Ute and take it down the road for a sandblast and powder coat. Hoping to do that next week.

So it's been a while since i updated the Darmo Rig. A lot has happened. The trays been completed and I've been to Alice Springs and back. he he.

So here's the finished product and some Alice pic's.

Here's the tray painted on the Ute with the canvas done. This was taken at Ayers Rock Resort camping ground.

Looking very nice there mate BUT if that's the front end of your Hilux for sale and you're getting a SAS I demand pictures. I wait patiently for your response............. :twisted:

G'Day Johnny. Yeah mate I went and visited Cal. Went the 3inch tour kit. Putting it in tomorrow night. Can't wait. Catch up for a trip soon.

Thanks Quinny. Took me a while to build about 3 months of nights after work. And getting favors from mates wasn't a quick process.

But New Hilux and chatting with guys helped me decided on a good multipurpose setup.
