Quadcams build up!

Postby Quadcams on Sat, 23 Jan 2010 4:24 +0000

Picked up my Charcoal Grey SR5 dual cab last November and now have a few plans with it.

Firstly I am getting the DC Torque 16"x8" wheels with the MT A/T 265/75/16 Baja ATZ Radials.

Next will be the Caloffroad lift kit (kit with the Bilstiens), (I think 3" lift).

Then a ARB Safari bull bar colour coded to body.

Will post up picks of each stage.

Just picked up my car from getting the Cal Offroad 3" lift kit & diff drop kit and MT ATZ 265/65/16 tyres, DC Torque rims 16x8, very happy how it goes, much better to drive, less roll than before, a little firmer but not enough to worry me.

As I noticed on some other threads I have to cut a little bit of the inside of the front guard, just scrubs and with the alignment, max castor they could get was 1deg, seems to drive fine (no wandering).

Looking very nice there mate....

They should be able to get a little more castor...my guy got 1 1/2 deg on mine and ive got no scrubbing on 33's with -12 offset rim.

Cheers.

Interesting cracka, I think my rims are 0 offset, spoke to Cal (CalOffroad) and he said that was the right offset.

How much lift do you have?

When I finally get the ARb bar it will eliminate the scrubbing.
